What do you love most about your job?
In my role, I get to blend technical expertise with a deep understanding of systems and risk-based thinking. I also get to collaborate with diverse, experienced professionals across the semiconductor manufacturing cycle, which significantly broadened my knowledge and experience in the field. It is also incredibly fulfilling to know that my work directly contributes to a company at the forefront of semiconductor integration. The opportunity to shape future technologies fuels my passion and drives me to contribute meaningfully.
What’s something people don’t know about you?
My initial career dream was to become a Chemical Technologist, a path I eagerly began pursuing while studying and working in a research and development laboratory within the metals industry. However, as I delved deeper into my studies, I became captivated by the rapid expansion of the semiconductor industry. Companies like Motorola, Intel, TI, Amkor, PSI, and Vishay, to name a few, were frequently discussed during my senior year in university.
As I listened to my friends share their experiences working with innovative technologies in semiconductor manufacturing, my curiosity sparked. They spoke of the exciting atmosphere of working at the forefront of technological advancements, and I found myself increasingly drawn to the possibilities within that field.
Ultimately, I decided to pivot into semiconductor manufacturing. This new direction allowed me to engage with cutting-edge technology daily, becoming an integral part of an industry characterized by constant evolution and infinite possibilities—precisely what fuels my passion for my work at Silicon Box.
Looking back, I did become a Chemical Technologist briefly; however, fate guided me to a different path as an engineer, and the rest is history.
What’s your aspiration?
I'm working toward building my dream house, which serves as both a personal milestone and a motivation in my journey at Silicon Box. The company's success and the impact of our work inspire me daily, and that sense of achievement drives me toward both professional and personal goals.
How do you unwind after a busy day?
After a busy day, I unwind with a warm cup of coffee. It's a simple ritual, but it helps me relax and reflect. Working at Silicon Box keeps me motivated and energized, so I truly look forward to that quiet moment at the end of the day.
